Ryan recently photographed our wedding at Caledonia Golf course in Pawleys Island. He was recommended by our wedding planner and since we live out of town, I had not met him until he showed up to the venue. After meeting him, I immediately felt comfortable. He was kind, accommodating, and professional. He made sure to get all the pictures that we wanted and kept us on schedule while allowing us to enjoy the night!

Ryan is amazing! He captured our beach wedding beautifully. Everyone that has looked at his work has commented on how he captured the genuine emotion of everyone. The love literally jumps off the screen, thanks to Ryan and his talent. From the first email to the final toast, Ryan was so easy to work with. Ryan and his wife did an amazing job capturing our wedding. He worked endlessly to make sure to capture every shot I asked for. Our pictures look amazing and he had them back to us in an unbelievably timely manner. I look forward to having him capture future events in our lives.

Ryan was so amazing! He really captured all the important moments in the day, and I got so many beautiful candid shots. Ryan had no problem meeting the bridal party at the salon to take pics of us getting hair and makeup done, then made his way to the reception space to get pics of the setup ahead of the wedding, back to the beach house to get pics of everyone getting dressed, to the beach for the ceremony, pics after the ceremony, back to the reception space for all of those pics (dancing, cake cutting, laughing, hugs), THEN back to the beach for sunset pics, and finally the end of the reception and our wedding trolley pictures. This man would win at a step challenge for sure! Throughout the whole process he made wonderful suggestions, shared when he thought a picture I was thinking of wasn't going to work out, and gave me tips and tricks for the best pictures. I am forever grateful to him, and the moments that he captured of our special day. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone getting married in the area. You only get one shot to get the right photographer (pun intended haha), and I'm so glad I picked the best! Thanks for everything, Ryan!
Being from out of state, I was hesitant to book a photographer for my family pictures. I chose Ryan because of his rave reviews and quality of the pictures I was able to see. His website explains everything and he was very responsive and helpful with booking and questions. My pictures turned out perfect. I would highly recommend if you are in the Myrtle Beach area! If we come back, we will inquire again!

I highly highly recommend Ryan Smith Photography! Ryan is FANTASTIC!! Probably one of the sweetest guys ever. Super patient and very easy to work with. And his work is just phenomenal!! He captures the most beautiful photos and moments I didn’t even know he was there for or even remember happening as your wedding day goes by so fast. He is so good at quietly following you and the groom around without even knowing or getting in the way lol. My fiancé and I absolutely loved working with Ryan. We had hired him for our wedding for this upcoming May and we ended up doing engagement photos as well last month! The pictures turned out amazing! He has so many great ideas and he was able to capture the few things we wanted to do during the shoot too. We can't wait to have him there for our wedding day!

We found Ryan online and he was fabulous! He was responsive in his communications, took us to an amazing location and was great to work with during the photo shoot. He kept thing moving...and of course we appreciated the quality of the photos. They were outstanding.
We did a large family session with Ryan at Litchfield beach at sunset. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful! Ryan spent a lot of time getting group shots as well as nuclear family shots. He was great with the kids and baby, he got lots of smiles from them. I felt that the session was a great value as well. We will be returning to Litchfield with the other side of my family next year, and I can’t wait to have him shoot our family again!
