Ryan was the exact professional I was looking for! During our family vacation at Myrtle Beach, I knew capturing the moment with my family of 16 was crucial. Despite wrangling 10 kids under 7 years old, Ryan remained incredibly patient and maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire photoshoot. Ryan was quick to respond to our inquiry about taking our family pictures, and he was very flexible at meeting at our desired location since we had a big group of 15. We appreciated his patience with our large group and taking pictures of various family groups + whole group, and we were extremely pleased with the final products. Ryan Smith is an excellent photographer, and my fiancé and I had a great time working with him! For my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, 13 family members gathered for a week in one beach house on Surfside Beach. Ryan came out and did a photo shoot at sunset with us. We were so happy with the results! He made sure to get all the sub-groups of the grandparents with grandkids and the couples, etc., and it was great to have the digital copies. We will treasure these photos from our special week together forever.

Ryan was very professional from day 1. I had some ideas for pictures I wanted and asked for his suggestions. We did everything I wanted and more including his suggestions. He was easy to work with and really made sure we were ok the entire time especially me the bride. He would even pause and let me calm down from the emotions and tell me it’s ok and to breathe. Remarkable person. I would have him do all photography I need for now on. Also, he worked with me on my budget and getting everything I wanted. Amazing person!
Ryan photographed my wedding in October and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. He is quick with responding to any questions, the pictures came out crisp and clear, and he is such a sweet person. The entire wedding party felt comfortable around him and I think that makes or breaks a photo session. With wedding photography you definitely get what you pay for and Ryan was nothing less than excellent!
I contacted Ryan with maybe a 2 week notice because we were unable to get other photographers to return emails.
Ryan was quick to answer my emails and was thorough in responding to my questions.
He is very accommodating as far as location (although we chose to meet him at a public park/Beach access).
We had 2 SMALL children with us and he did great with them! He captured their facial expressions we see every day, which was our preference (not the 'stiff picture' look!).
We knew up front that he was about 3 weeks out as far as turn-around time on getting photos edited.... and he had them ready in exactly the time he quoted.
The photos were GREAT quality and seemed to be edited with great care. We absolutely would recommend anyone use Ryan for their photography needs in Myrtle Beach. He was a pleasure to work with and will meet your needs, I am sure!
Ryan was an absolute dream to work with and cannot recommend him enough! From the time of booking to the wedding day, his communication was comforting and timely. My husband and I had a unique experience as our wedding was only 19 people. This gave him extra time with just the two of us. He took us all around the resort getting a variety of photos. Our favorites were at sunset on the beach and along a row of palm trees. Being a midsized bride I was self-conscious in my appearance. His suggestions for poses were on point. I have never looked to good in a photo! He seriously made us look like models in these photos. We are SO pleased with everything. NO need to look anywhere else.
Ryan is a dream to work with! He did pictures for our family in 2021, and when we got engaged the following year we knew we wanted to hire him for our wedding! He is very professional and adaptable. The pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY!! I love his use of light and color. Hiring the right photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions you can make because when your day is over, all that’s left is pictures and memories. I’m pleased to say we made the right choice!!
Ryan is a fantastic photographer! With 3 young children, I was nervous on how our session would go. Ryan was incredibly professional, friendly, and most importantly, patient! We were blown away with the shots that he got and will use one of them for our Christmas card photo this year. We are so thankful to have captured such happy times at the beach with our young family. We are Ryan's biggest fans!! 5 stars all the way!
