After many years of photography as a hobby, I started my full-time business about 15 years ago in the Myrtle Beach area. I started small for the first few months, shooting family beach pictures. I realized I had a really good talent for portrait photography and a good way with clients, so I eventually moved into doing weddings as well.

I’ve always approached photography from the geeky, technical side of things. Before doing it professionally, I learned software like Adobe Lightroom as a hobby and how all the camera settings affect an image. While the technical side of photography comes easy for me, I had to work hard to learn to pose people and groups. Even after many years and taking nearly a million pictures, I always try to improve.

Some other things about me, I’m good at web coding and have my site running on my own server, so it’s really fast! I’m also really into CrossFit. I’m getting older now and appreciate the benefits of staying in shape, especially when shooting weddings. I also have other hobbies, like scuba diving and mountain biking.

My wife is from the country of Colombia. If you see a beautiful assistant in any Photo Booth pictures, she comes along to help me with that. She also now assists me as a second shooter with wedding photography. She also works as an Architect at her full-time job. You can check out some cool pictures and aerial videos with my Drone on a recent trip to Colombia.

I recently started a new side business after purchasing a laser-cutting machine. I do great with photography, but sometimes having some different side hobbies is fun. I plan to make custom-etched glassware, laser-cut table decor, wedding gifts, and more. Please check out my new shop here Shoreline Laser Designs.

Office Location

I work out of my home office since all my work is done on location. Before a wedding, I typically like to do a Zoom or Facetime call to meet and discuss details, and I can share some previous wedding pictures for your venue or show you albums. If you prefer to meet in person, let me know, and we can pick a spot to meet. I could meet you at your wedding venue, where you are staying, or even a coffee shop if you prefer. Please let me know if you would like to set up an appointment.
