I’ve often been to Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island for engagement and family pictures. It’s a beautiful location with lots of centuries live oak trees covered in moss near the Waccamaw River. It’s not often that I get to do photography at a completely new wedding venue. The Venue at White Oaks Farm started hosting wedding events this past summer, and they seem to be doing quite well. This venue is located north of Longs; it’s about 30 minutes inland from Myrtle Beach. It was actually a really easy drive. I always love Fall weddings at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club. It’s so lovely this time of year without the heat and humidity. Matthew and Taylor were a fun and relaxed wedding couple with a small bridal party of the groom’s brothers and the bride’s sister. They had my photo booth at this wedding, so I arrived about an hour early to help my wife set everything up. They had a custom backdrop with a wood lattice and some beautiful foliage. I had a great time photographing Ashley and Dustin’s fun wedding at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach. This wedding was one of those that got a little wild later in the evening.
