I always love when a wedding can bring together a happy new family. I was working on the wedding album for Marshall and Lindsey and thought this would be a great wedding to post to my blog. Their wedding was held last November 5th at one of my favorite venues, the Dunes Golf & Beach Club at the north end of Myrtle Beach. This is a beautiful location for a wedding, with a lawn overlooking the ocean for the ceremony, a large ballroom for the reception, and a great staff that I always enjoy working with. Beautiful winter wedding for an older couple at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club

I had the privilege of photographing a recent wedding at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach for one of it’s previous presidents. This couple was so extremely friendly, nice and relaxed about everything it made my job very easy. When I first arrived at the clubhouse, the bride’s children and grandchildren hadn’t yet arrived. We just chatted for a while and I went around and got detail pictures of the ballroom decorations. Ethiopian wedding at the Dunes Club in Myrtle Beach

I always like it when I get to do a wedding with a different cultural style. This was my first Ethiopian-style wedding at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club up in Myrtle Beach. This wedding was typical, but they had some exciting customs at the reception.  The dancing was different from what I’m used to. It got all the family involved and made for some good pictures.
