This week I’m featuring another beautiful wedding I was the photographer for at the Members Club at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach. I like that I’m photographing more weddings lately at the Members Club, it’s a really beautiful location on the golf course with a great interior and large ballroom.
This bride and groom had both been married previously and they had their children as part of the wedding party. The bride’s daughter was one of the bridesmaids, so I got some very sweet pictures of her helping her mom put on the veil and helping her with the dress before the ceremony. I also got a lot of fun shots of the groomsmen as well as the whole family together after the ceremony. I really love the one of them holding hands walking down the green talking together.
The DJ Ryan Robinson is always fun to work with. I included a number of pictures below from his dancing on the cloud package. He has a fog machine that he brings out during the first dance, the fog sits low to the floor and looks really cool with the couple dancing in the cloud. This bride and groom also had a choreographed first dance that was fun to take pictures of.
The only thing I didn’t end up having time for was drone aerial shots of the clubhouse. Unless a client specifically ask for aerial photography, I only do drone shots if I have some down time that won’t affect my regular photography. Whenever I photograph a wedding at the Grande Dunes Member Club I remember a traditional Indian wedding I photographed almost 10 years ago now. Looking back I still like those pictures even though I have so much more experience now! I hope you enjoy the pictures below, let me know in the comments if you do!
