I’ve been shooting many weddings recently at 21 Main Events at North Beach. It’s becoming one of my favorite venues. I like the combination of the private courtyard for the ceremony, then the gazebo and beach for pictures at sunset. Plus, they have amazing food. My wife Lizeth came along as a second photographer for this wedding. I recommend a second shooter for weddings at 21 Main because she can take pictures on the balcony during the ceremony. I’ve done many weddings and family portraits session on the beach behind the North Beach Resort (formerly North Beach Plantation) towers. These towers are located at the very south end of North Myrtle Beach across from Barefoot Landing. This wedding was unique for me, in that the reception was also held in the Blu Lounge inside the Indigo Tower. Most of my weddings at this location have their reception back at 21 Main Events. I always love when I have a chance to post pictures from a wedding at a new location. I’ve actually done family pictures at the Point in Cherry Grove, but I’ve never shot a wedding ceremony there. This is a unique location in North Myrtle Beach where House Creek meets up with the ocean and there are lots of undulating natural dunes. 21 Main Events at North Beach is becoming one of my most frequented wedding venues for photography. It’s a great combination of a sheltered courtyard area that keeps the guests out of the sun and wind. As well as a beautiful nearby gazebo and beach area.
