It’s almost time again for the busy season in Myrtle Beach, so I wanted to make one last blog post about a unique wedding last summer. This wedding was on July 3rd, 2022, at my favorite wedding venue, 21 Main Events at North Beach. This wedding was unusual in that we did everything in the courtyard. I usually take at least the bride and groom down to the closeby gazebo and beach, if not the whole wedding party. 2022 has already been a busy year with several beautiful weddings. In fact, this was my first of two weddings in a row at 21 Main Events at North Beach. Since this was a smaller, more intimate event, they had the courtyard set up for the reception instead of the main ballroom. I arrived a little before the bride, so I began with detail shots of the table decorations, wedding decor, and the bride’s dress that I found was already there. I’ve done many weddings and family portraits session on the beach behind the North Beach Resort (formerly North Beach Plantation) towers. These towers are located at the very south end of North Myrtle Beach across from Barefoot Landing. This wedding was unique for me, in that the reception was also held in the Blu Lounge inside the Indigo Tower. Most of my weddings at this location have their reception back at 21 Main Events. I met Jenna and Justin at last January’s Wedding Showcase event in Myrtle Beach. We briefly discussed their upcoming wedding on October 2nd in the courtyard at the 21 Main Events at North Beach wedding venue. January was such a short time ago. Wedding Preparations The courtyard at 21 Main Events in North Myrtle Beach is always a beautiful place for a wedding ceremony. This October wedding, with Kristal and Edgar, was a little unusual for me because it was held at 10am in the morning. This was my first time photographing a wedding ceremony in the beautiful courtyard at 21 Main Events at North Beach. This restaurant is located near the North Beach Plantation towers in North Myrtle Beach. This was a small and intimate wedding ceremony without a bridal party. The bride didn’t want a lot getting ready pictures so I just arrived shortly before the ceremony time.
