I always love weddings at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet. It’s located about 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, across from the Huntington Beach State Park. My family portrait clients are always asking me about the origins of the Atalaya Castle. I always love getting to take bridal portraits before a wedding. The bride, in her wedding dress, is always a favorite subject of photographers. This southern tradition is really great idea, because of the rush of the wedding day itself, I’m lucky to get a few great shots of the bride by herself. I have been keeping busy lately with weddings at the Grande Dunes Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach. This wedding was the first of four weddings there just in the month of May!
