21 Main Events features a beautiful private ceremony courtyard, custom rooms for bride and groom preparations, a classic gazebo, and a lovely beach area for pictures. Located in North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Great smiles - Oak Allee - Night of a Thousand Candles - Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens is a breathtaking statue garden located in Murrells Inlet, SC. There are beautiful foliage and flowers in the spring and summer, and in the winter, the Night of a Thousand Candles is amazing for photography. Weddings can be held in the main gardens or the gates on the Oak Allee.

Pawleys Plantation

Pawleys Plantation is one of my favorite golf country clubs in Pawleys Island, SC. They have a large, beautiful ballroom and amazing golf course views. The staff allows me to use a golf cart to take the bride and groom to my favorite sunset spots for pictures under the mossy oaks.

White Oaks Farm

White Oaks Farm is a new wedding venue in Longs, SC, about 30 minutes from Myrtle Beach. Everything is fresh and modern, with special rooms for the bride and groom, clean white walls, and elegant hardwood floors. They are constantly making updates, such as the new ceremony patio under the arches on the lake.

Kiss on the moss covered road - Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Caledonia Golf has many beautiful outdoor areas for pictures surrounded by ancient oak trees covered in moss with that perfect look of the SC Lowcountry. This is such a beautiful area for an outdoor wedding and reception. I not only photograph weddings here but also bridal, family, and engagement pictures when clients want a change from the beach. It’s located on the Waccamaw River in Pawleys Island, SC.

Looking into each others eyes - Litchfield Country Club

Litchfield Country Club

Litchfield Country Club is located in Pawleys Island and is a great location for small to medium size weddings. It has a dance floor and dining area on the second floor of the clubhouse. The ceremony area is backed by some beautiful trees and greenery and there is a small bridge and spots on the golf course for pictures.

Wachesaw Plantation

The Kimbels restaurant in Pawleys Island, SC, has an elegant large ballroom for wedding receptions surrounded by windows and a patio overlooking the Waccamaw River. The ceremony area is breathtaking at sunset, with the light pouring through ancient moss-covered oaks.

Pine Lakes Country Club

Pine Lakes is another beautiful golf country club located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. There is a wide red brick walkway leading to a beautiful spot for a ceremony in front of flowers and trees. The fountain in front of the clubhouse is another great spot for pictures. This location has one of the most elegant ballrooms with a fireplace, beautiful windows, and hanging chandeliers.

Dunes Golf and Beach Club

The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is another of my favorite locations for weddings in Myrtle Beach. I know the staff well, and they are always friendly and helpful. The ballroom is beautiful, with large windows overlooking the ocean. The many options for pictures include steps going to a golf course overlook, great golf course views, old oak trees, and the beach itself.

Even though I’m based in Myrtle Beach, I always love making the trip to the many beautiful venues in Charleston, SC. The Hilton and Kingston Plantation area is a collection of resort hotels together in North Myrtle Beach. There are some beautiful lawns for the ceremonies as well as various ballrooms for receptions at the different resorts. If you are looking for a resort wedding on the beach this area is a good choice.

I love the huge windows in the ballroom at The Village House in Pawleys Island. They make a great background for pictures of the bridal party before the ceremony. They recently expanded and now have a large indoor ceremony area and lots of room for seating and dancing.

There are many farm venues in Marion, SC. Wildberry Farm is one of my favorites, with a rustic barn area for the reception and a choice of a small chapel or outdoor ceremony on the lake. There is also a separate cottage for the bride’s preparations. Check out some of the beautiful spring flowers in my featured weddings.

Wildhorse at Parker Farms

Wildhorse at Parker Farms is a great venue in Longs, SC especially if you love horses. This is a simple venue with an outdoor wedding area and an open-air barn for the reception. It has some elegant features like a fireplace and stained glass. When the owner calls over the horses, they love meeting the bride and groom and being a great backdrop for pictures. There are also some beautiful spots on the marsh with light pouring in through all the trees.

Safe Harbor – Reserve Harbor Marina

This location, previously known as the Reserve Harbor Yacht Club, is another great location for smaller weddings. I love where they hold the ceremony in front of an old brick fence and beautiful oaks. There is a unique boardwalk winding through the woods and down on the river that is a beautiful spot for pictures with the bride and groom.

This is a hotel located at the very south end of Myrtle Beach. There is a large lawn behind the resort for ceremonies and a pretty beach area for pictures. The reception hall has a hotel conference room look, but it’s very large and can be fixed up to look nice with custom decorating. It has a great view overlooking the ocean.

The Members Club is located over the private bridge inside the Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC. This classic clubhouse has large stained glass doors, chandeliers in the ballroom, and many columns. The golf course has great views for pictures at sunset.

This small chapel is over 75 years old and popular for wedding ceremonies. It’s in a beautiful spot on the marsh in Pawleys Island, SC. Lighting inside can be tricky, but I have some techniques to deal with that. There are beautiful spots on the marsh boardwalks and beach for pictures after.

This is a lovely spot on the Waccamaw River in Bucksville, SC, with a marsh, cotton fields, horses, and beautiful old trees. They have a nice outdoor reception area, a dancefloor, and a large deck overlooking the river that can also be used for dancing.

This Golf Club is in the north end of Myrtle Beach, SC. It’s great for smaller-sized weddings with a more limited reception area but a beautiful clubhouse for pictures and great views on the golf course. I love the background for pictures of the Grande Dunes bridge and boats sitting in the harbor. They also provide a golf cart to take the bride and groom for pictures.

This used to be one of my favorite wedding locations. I’ve shot so many weddings here over the years. They no longer allow weddings at the club, but I’m keeping this category so you can see the history of my work.

The Barefoot Resort clubhouse has a classic look with dark wood paneling and chandeliers. The reception hall and dance floor are very large, and there are options for pictures on the golf course and a short drive to the beach. It’s located in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
