This was my second wedding this year at the beautiful Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet, SC. Some of my favorite wedding pictures in my galleries have been from Wachesaw Plantation. Symmes, the bride, began her preparations at Stox & Co salon in Litchfield. I met them there to get some pictures of the hair and makeup prep and just some fun pictures of the bridesmaids hanging out before getting dressed. This bride and groom, Mary and Shane, had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Pawleys Island Chapel with a reception at the Reserve Harbor Yacht Club. They also had their two daughters featured as flower girls in the wedding. I had my assistant head over to take pictures with the groomsmen, and I went to the home where the bride was getting ready on the inlet in Pawleys Island. Beautiful evening wedding at the Pawleys Island Chapel with reception in the Hammock Shops

I always love photographing weddings down near the inlet area of Pawleys Island. This wedding was small and relaxed without a large bridal party. The bride was getting ready at her parent’s home and the ceremony was at the small chapel on the marsh in Pawleys Island. The chapel is really lovely because the big windows overlooking the marsh let in a lot of soft light that hits the couple during the ceremony.
