I had a great time this past weekend taking pictures for Ornelie and Matt, my previous wedding clients . I shot both their engagement pictures and their beautiful African themed wedding at the River Ridge Golf Course in Raleigh, NC. Since their engagement pictures were at the beach, Ornelie wanted a different look for their one year anniversary session. I suggested the Conway Riverwalk. One year anniversary and bridal portraits at the Conway Riverwalk

It seems like I’ve had a lot of weddings and photo sessions recently at the Conway Riverwalk. It’s a beautiful alternative location for pictures if you want to get away from the beach. This couple got married about a year ago back in their hometown, but due to weather and other circumstances they weren’t happy with the pictures from their wedding. 50th anniversary vow renewal at the Myrtle Beach State Park

This was a very nice family to work with. They told me that instead of just doing family pictures, the grandfather wanted to surprise his wife by doing a short vow renewal service at the end. They were a very sweet older couple that you could tell loved each other a lot, and they were quite fun to do pictures with. It turned out not to be the best evening, it started raining and there was some nearby lightning, but it never got so bad that we had to stop.
