I was excited to photograph my first wedding at The Village House in the Litchfield / Pawleys Island area. I’ve previously photographed an event there and even created a 360 virtual walkthrough for the venue, but it was great to be back for a wedding. I knew from my past visit that The Village House has amazing large windows in the ballroom. Busy weekend with weddings at the Grande Dunes Ocean Club

I often go to the Grande Dunes Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach for wedding photography. It is my most visited location. The weekend of this wedding, I had three other weddings at the Ocean Club and one the following week. The nice thing is I know all the staff and all the good picture spots, as I mentioned in one of my earlier blog posts. During this ceremony, I also set up a camera on the upstairs balcony to shoot pictures during the entire ceremony. Traditional Indian Wedding at the Grande Dunes Myrtle Beach

I did my first traditional Indian wedding at the Grande Dunes Members Club in Myrtle Beach.  It was an experience I’ll always remember and a really beautiful event. It’s amazing how intricate and heavy an Indian wedding dress is.  I loved how many colors there were during the ceremony with the bride’s dress and the flowers. I think my favorite shot was the bride walking down the aisle and the groom still hidden from her view. My new Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens really makes this picture pop.
